Vortex Canada: Pro Staff - David McQuaker

My name is David McQuaker. I have been participating in competitive archery for the past 11 years. Archery is not my only passion. I also enjoy hunting, fishing as well as camping with my wife and two children.

I have had the fortune of harvesting many trophy animals with both bow and gun including Ontario Moose, White Tail Deer and Turkey.

Some of my accomplishments include Gold Medal Finishes in the Ontario Triple Crown and winning the Provincial 3-D Championship 2 years running. I have also won Gold at both the Provincial Target and Field Championships. My combined score for all of the Provincial Championship events allowed me to win the 2008 Ontario Grand Championship Medal.

In 2010 I have been fortunate to have won Silver in the Ontario Indoor Championships at both FITA and NFAA events. In the 2010 I.B.O. National Triple Crown I finished with a 2nd and two 8th place finishes to win a Silver I.B.O. belt buckle in the Triple Crown over-all.

When not competing I volunteer my time at The Archers of Caledon where I sit as a member of the board and help to maintain a 30 target 3-D course. I also represent Elite Archery, Spot-Hogg Archery and Gold Tip Arrows along with Vortex Optics while enjoying my outdoor pursuits.

Whether glassing for the X ring or the Buck of my dreams quality optics a play pivotal role in my success. That is why I would like to thank Vortex Canada for all their support in helping me achieve my goals.
