My name is Gord Follett, 53 years of age, from St. John's, Newfoundland. Although I was raised and still live in the city, I spend a great deal of my time - over 100 days of the year - hunting and fishing all across Newfoundland and Labrador, often in some of the province's most remote locations.
I am editor of the Newfoundland Sportsman magazine, entering its 21st year of publication, and co-host of the Newfoundland Sportsman Show, entering its seventh season.
My real passion is hunting, although fishing is a very close second. I've harvested several moose, caribou and black bear over the years, as well as numerous small game animals and waterfowl.
I've learned through three decades of experience that great optics can make all the difference between hunting success and going home empty-handed, which is why I'm proud to be part of the Vortex Pro Staff.
