Samuel Deanault has been birding since 1993. He has accumulated thousands of hours in the field in all possible weather conditions in search of birds. He completed his Masters of Science in the Department of Natural Resources at McGill University in 2010 and has been working for the Tadoussac Bird Observatory since 2003.
On March 17, 2010, Samuel attended the televised show "Tous Pour Un" of Radio-Canada. The subject of this famous quiz show was “Birds – from here and beyond”. Samuel was selected from a very long list of experienced birders and finally won hands down the grand prize on this prestigious TV quiz show.
Samuel is very involved in the Atlas of the Breeding Birds of Quebec since its beginning in 2010. Passionate about bird identification, Samuel Denault uses Vortex binoculars in his leisure and professional activities.
