Mike Brake is a retired Police Sergeant and currently operates his own training company. A career combined with 30 years of military and law enforcement duties including the Department of National Defence Special Service Forces and an Emergency Task Force SWAT operator. Mike has been a Certified Use of Force Instructor in the Province of Ontario since 1995 and has 20 years’ experience in developing, teaching and supervising Provincial use of force training, including, duty pistol, tactical shotgun, patrol carbine rifle, sniper rifle, less lethal options and defensive tactics. Through his company Mike continues to specialize in providing training for law enforcement agencies, select military units and private security services. He is honoured to be on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Tactical Officers Association, a Master Firearms Instructor with the Canadian Firearms Institute and a firearms instructor with the Operational Shooting Association. An accomplished and respected competitive shooter, Mike has represented Canada at the Can-Am Games, World Police Games, Ontario Tactical Advisory Board Competitions and other local tactical, IDPA and operational competitive events. Mike is recognized for his genuine passion for training, professional conduct and respectful disposition.
